Install it the way that suits you.

Thevyn tools install either as a direct download from Thevyn or through a store listing. The two routes behave differently, so both are explained below, followed by the release information for each tool.

Installation routes

Two ways in.

Direct from Thevyn

A ZIP file downloaded from this site. Unzip it and run the tool. The fastest route, and the one that gets updates first.

You download the file and run it. A standalone app like BlenDock is ready straight away; an add-on is then enabled inside Blender or Unity, as that application expects.
Windows may show a security warning, because Thevyn is a new publisher. That warning is about the publisher's reputation, not about the file being unsafe.
BlenDock tells you when a newer version is out. Download it from this page and unzip it into the same folder, replacing the old files: your projects, settings and licence stay.
Where the distribution process produces one, a checksum is published so you can verify the file you received is the file that was built.

Through a store

Installed through the Unity Asset Store or a Blender marketplace, depending on the tool.

The store handles installation and updates, and verifies the publisher, so no security warning appears.
Store listings can lag a version or two behind a direct download while an update is reviewed.

BlenDock

Your Blender projects under control.

Platform: Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit (x64)
Works with: Blender, installed separately. BlenDock finds the versions you have and can download official builds.
Tested with: Blender 3.5, 3.6, 4.2, 4.5 and 5
Installation: A ZIP file: unzip it and run BlenDock. Nothing to install, and its data stays in a folder beside it
Licence: Every feature free for 14 days. After that, Basic is free for up to three projects and needs no key; Pro and Studio unlock unlimited projects and more features with a purchased key.

Windows may show a security warning the first time, because Thevyn is a new publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway. If it doesn't open at all on Windows 11, see the FAQ on the BlenDock page.

Windows security warning

Why Windows may warn you.

Windows SmartScreen warns about applications from publishers it has not seen distribute software before. Thevyn is a new publisher, so that warning can appear on the direct route. It is a statement about the publisher's reputation with Microsoft, not a detection of anything in the file. To continue, choose More info, then Run anyway.
