About Thevyn
Complex underneath. Effortless in your hands.
Thevyn builds workflow software for Blender and Unity artists, animators and game developers. The tools take on the technical machinery of production so the creative work stays in view.
What we build
Tools for the work around the work.
Production carries a great deal of machinery: file organisation, dependencies, animation workflows, project structure, repetitive setup, validation, versioning and technical handoff. It all has to be handled, and handling it is rarely the part anyone signed up for.
Thevyn tools take that load underneath the surface. What reaches the artist is a clear, visual, predictable workflow — the structure visible, the state obvious, the next action close at hand — while the technical work happens where it belongs.
Every tool is built for a specific place where that complexity piles up fastest, inside the application the artist already works in.
How we build
Four things every Thevyn tool has to be.
Artist-first
Built around how the work actually gets done, not around the structure of the underlying system. The tool adapts to the artist rather than the other way round.
Visual
Structure and state are shown, not described. If something matters to a decision, it should be visible at the moment the decision is made.
Deterministic
The same action produces the same result. No hidden state, no surprising side effects, nothing that behaves differently depending on what happened earlier.
Reliable
Production files are not a safe place to experiment. Tools that touch them have to be predictable under pressure, on real projects, at real scale.
How they fit together
Independent tools. Seamless ecosystems.
Each Thevyn tool is useful entirely on its own. None of them requires another, none of them is sold as part of a bundle you have to buy into, and none of them stops working if you only ever use one.
Where two tools genuinely help each other, they are built to work together — and the pages for those tools say so specifically, rather than implying a suite that has to be adopted whole.
Who it is for
Built for people with production problems.
Blender artists
Practical tools for production files, assets, modular workflows, validation and handoff.
For Blender ArtistsUnity artists
Visual tools for rigging, animation, Timeline, scene organisation, dependencies, project understanding and production workflow.
For Unity ArtistsAlso useful to
- Technical artists evaluating workflow reliability
- Indie teams and studios comparing production tools
- Game developers who need clearer creative pipelines
- Existing customers looking for downloads, updates or support
A growing family of tools
Create more. Manage less.
More tools are on the way for both Blender and Unity. Each one is independent and useful on its own.
